Travel to the Reef & Kuranda in class. Ocean Freedom is one of Cairns' premier reef & island tours, offering up to 6 hours at the reef with small passengers numbers and amazing crew. Travel to Kuranda in style in the Gold Class carriage, enjoy the views from your own window seat, while your Gold Class Attendant looks after your every need.  These 2 daytrips can be done on any two days of your holiday in no particular order.

Day One: Ocean Freedom Reef & Island Cruise
Checkin commences at 7:30am inside the Reef Fleet Terminal at the Ocean Freedom counter for a 8am boat departure.

Enjoy a Danish pastry, fruit, morning tea or coffee in the comfortable lounge followed by an introductory safety brief before kicking back, and enjoying the one hour cruise to Upolu Cay. For those who would like to scuba dive the paperwork and briefs are completed during the journey out, so when you arrive at The Great Barrier Reef you are ready to dive!

Upolu Cay:
Enjoy a Glass Bottom boat tour to Upolu Cay - Ocean Freedom is the first boat to arrive at the beautiful Upolu Cay where you can ­enjoy it uninterrupted! Surrounded by stunning turquoise water and many types of corals, reef fishes, stingrays, cucumbers, sea stars ­ this is a great introduction to the reef. Snorkel and dive here. All necessary assistance is provided to ensure all guests get to enjoy the reef.

Lunch approximately 11:30am. Self serve buffet. Large smorgasbord lunch consisting of 3 meats and chicken platter, prawns, smoked salmon and 3 salads and a selection of breads. While lunch is being enjoyed, cruise slowly round to the second reef location.

Upolu Reef:
Amazing "Wonder Wall" on the Outer Edge of Upolu Reef . View many different types of hard and soft coral in addition to fans, giant clams, turtles, a huge diversity and abundance of reef fish of all sizes, nemos everywhere! Snorkel and dive here . Enjoy an informative adventure drift snorkel tour with our Marine Naturalist.

After a full 5hrs of unrushed pleasure on the Reef and Cay ­cruise home while the friendly crew serve a sumptuous selection of tropical fruit, cheese & crackers and the decadent cake platter ­an ultimate way to wind down after a magical day on the one and only Great Barrier Reef.

Arrive in Cairns from 4.30pm
