TRINITY BEACH FAMILY FUN:

Beachside Family Fun stars right here at Trinity Beach. Enjoy luxury accommodation surrounded by resort facilities overlooking a central lagoon, only a short stroll from the beach.

This package is based on a family of 2 adults and 2 children between 4 and 14 yrs. If your children are not in this age category the price will be different. Please advise us of the ages of your children for a correct quote.

DAY 1: Arrive and check into Blue Lagoon Resort:

Blue Lagoon Resort is a 4.5 star resort located at Trinity Beach, about 20 minutes north of Cairns.  This Lagoon-front Resort is only a quick stroll to beach, restaurants that dot the Esplanade and is excellent for families. 

Your accommodation is in a 2 Bedroom Apartment.  These superbly furnished apartments are very spacious and extremely well equipped, complete with your own gourmet kitchen and full laundry.  There are 2 very spacious balconies, that overlook the lush tropical gardens or lagoon.  Perfect for relaxing on at the end of the day .  There is an option for a King and Queen beds or a Queen and 2 Singles. 

Facilities include a full-size tennis court, 3 swimming pools including lap pool, spa and restaurant making this the perfect choice for your family vacation. 

DAY 2: Green Island Day Tour

This is the perfect day trip for all ages, suitable for children, infants and babies. Green Island has crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. There are lots of fish and also coral to admire, and it is perfect for paddlers and learning snorkellers as you can snorkel straight off the beach.

Green Island is a very small pretty Coral Cay that is easy to circumnavigate by foot. There are a variety of fun, affordable activities including the Underwater Observatory situated at the end of the jetty, beach hire, fish feeding, glass bottom boat tours and exploring the rainforest.

Kids will love Marine Melanesia (entry charge applies) view a magnificent range of tribal carvings and Asian artifacts, along with huge live crocodiles, beautiful marine aquariums and giant marine turtles. In the turtle pool you will see Green Turtles as well as the Hawksbill Turtle. Handle a "live" young crocodile and have a photo taken to show your friends.

This is a full day tour which departs Cairns at 8:30am and 10:30am and returns at 2:30pm and 4:30pm for a 45-minute cruise to Green Island.

DAY 3:  Kuranda including Scenic Rail, Skyrail 

 The coach will pick you up in the morning at Blue Lagoon Resort and transfer you to Freshwater Station for check in. It is then time to board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail for an unforgettable journey, winding over the mountain range over bridges and through tunnels into Kuranda. There are spectacular views of Cairns and the Coral Sea from your carriage and a souvenir booklet is included.

Stroll the tree-lined streets of Kuranda, punctuated with quaint village architecture, shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes. You will have 4 hours free time to discover the charm, colour and diversity that Kuranda has to offer.   Kuranda is very popular for its fabulous markets and beautiful scenery.  As an optional extra you can choose to visit Birdworld, Koala Gardens and the Butterfly sanctuary.  Lunch can be purchased from the many restaurants and cafes on offer. 

Board Skyrail at 3:30pm.  Skyrail has four seat cablecars which travel up & down the mountain to Kuranda.   Relax and enjoy the world’s most beautiful rainforest experience.  The scenery is magnificent looking out over the Coral Sea and cane fields while skimming across the top of the Rainforest Canopy.  Stopping enroute to explore the two Stations where your family can learn about the rainforest in the National Park's interactive information area and also take a walk along raised boardwalks through the rainforest. It is fun and educational.

After arriving at Caravonica Lakes, your coach will collect your family and transfer you back to Blue Lagoon. 

DAY 4:  Hartleys Crocodile Adventures

Enjoy a sleep in before your pick up to Hartleys Creek Crocodile Adventures – the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland. Enjoy a unique eco experience on the lagoon cruise through the ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands; the domain of the saltwater crocodile.

Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife, including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries.

See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show and the opportunity to hold a crocodile for a photo (own expense). Discover the world’s most venomous snakes at the Snake Show before the return transfer to Blue Lagoon.

DAY 5 - 7:  At your leisure

1/2 Day River Tubing
As an optional extra you may like to upgrade your Trinity Beach Family Fun to the Ultimate Family adventure.  Why not include a 1/2 day of River Tubing on the Mulgrave River.  Float down the Mulgrave River on professional high quality twin chamber tubes and relax in beautiful scenery.  Great fun and excellent for kids of all ages, even grown up kids!!

This day includes:

• Half day - approx 2 hours of tubing!
• Float on professional high quality twin chamber tubes
• Relax in beautiful scenery
• Drift through small fun rapids!

Trinity Beach Airport Transfers
The Family Fun Package includes accommodation and entry into attractions but does not include Airport Transfers.  Please let us know if you require transfers for your family.  Transfers are from $65 per family, per way
