We are very pleased to advise that Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club is fully operational with no structural damage with power restored and the area is looking beautiful. We were very lucky to come through Yasi and happy to advise that all guests and staff are all safe and sound.
About 20 staff and a large handful of golf members worked for two days on a working bee to clean up debris from the golf course and its now back in its former condition and beauty.
Our telephone lines and the internet is now working and thank you for your patience, understanding along with kind wishes while lines and internet were down last week.
Authorities have declared the Cairns Domestic and International Airport to be fully operational and we are more than ready to welcome guests. While there are areas of Queensland that were devastated, the major tourist towns such as Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas were spared the full force of Cyclone Yasi and business is back to normal.
