DAY ONE: BALLOONING

Enjoy a magical and exhilarating flight of your life in the world's largest commercial hot air balloon. The Atherton tablelands provide the perfect conditions for Hot Air Ballooning and the view from your basket of rolling hills and winding streams is stunning.

Raging Thunder will pick you up from your accommodation at 5.00am for the 90-minute drive to the flight site. You will arrive just in time to see the balloons beings inflated.

After your magnificent 30 minute flight, sit down to a delicious Aussie champagne breakfast on a property exclusive to Raging Thunder. Also exclusive to Raging Thunder are their in-flight digital photo technology. The opportunity to have your photo taken whilst in-flight, high above the Atherton Tablelands in one of the majestic balloons is a moment to be treasured forever. Your photo is then available for purchase at breakfast.

The tour return to Cairns at 10.00am.

DAY TWO: TULLY RAFTING

Raging Thunder offers an excellent full day of action packed white water rafting on the Tully River.

The Tully River is located about 1 hour south of Cairns, and is rated a Grade 4, which means there are exciting rapids and a good chance you will be in the water at some stage during the day!

This trip departs daily to the upper gorge of the Tully River in a comfortable air-conditioned, video equipped coach. It is a scenic journey through cloud-covered coastal mountains, clear rivers and streams, and fields of sugar cane.

With over 27 rapids on the river, this is the longest Tully River rafting trip available. The rapids you will encounter include the unforgettable "Alarm Clock", "Stair Case" and the dramatic "Theatre" - all before a riverside BBQ lunch. Your "Rescue 3" trained guide will give you all the tuition needed for this exciting days rafting, and only the world's best rafts are used!

The river guides have a good sense of humour, and will give an informative commentary throughout the day.

The lunch spot is situated opposite "Ponytail Falls" where time is made to replenish your batteries and give you a chance to take in the spectacular scenery. The entertainment does not stop there…after your day of rafting you will return to the exclusive Raging Thunder Cafe where screams of laughter abound as everyone watches the day's action on video before the coach takes you and your memories home.

DAY 3: PASSIONS OF PARADISE

Passions of Paradise II is a brand new 25-metre maxi-catamaran designed to travel to the Great Barrier Reef in comfort, style and speed. Outfitted with the latest cutting edge technology, Passions of Paradise II has awesome sailing capabilities, and in the right conditions is faster than most powered vessels.

Passions of Paradise was a 'Winner of Excellence' at the 2006 Queensland Tourism Awards.

Travelling on a daily basis to two fantastic destinations, Passions will show you the best of both underwater worlds - the outer reef and a sandy cay.

Michaelmas Cay is the first stop. This is a gorgeous little speck of pure coral sand, surrounded by reef and warm shallow water. There are many different species of marine life that inhabit these waters and the cay is also a haven for a variety of marine birds. You will have about 2 1/2 hours to explore and snorkel. A snorkel specialist will assist first time snorkellers and make you feel comfortable.

You will also have the opportunity for an Introductory Dive or Certified Dive.

Paradise Reef at Breaking Patches, is the second destination. For 1 1/2 hours you can snorkel over brilliant staghorn corals, huge plate corals of many different colours, and anemones that sway with the oceans currents. Within 5 metres snorkelling distance of the boat you can spot little clown fish (Nemo!) living within the anemones.

Paradise Reef is ideal for both Introductory and Certified diving.

Intro diving is safe, fun, easy and the best way to see the Great Barrier Reef. No experience is necessary, and you don't even have to be able to swim. You will be given a full on-deck briefing, shown how the equipment works and in small groups of no more than 4 divers, be led on a diving instructor controlled dive.

Certified scuba divers have a beautiful range of reefs to dive. Paradise Reef is on the true outer Great Barrier Reef where the water visibility is best and the coral most dramatic. After all the swimming and diving a huge tropical smorgasbord lunch is served. There's also plenty of time to relax. On the way home with the sails up, relax, chill out, and soak up the atmosphere.
