RAINFORESTATION:

At the award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park you'll get to experience indigenous culture, Australian native wildlife and World Heritage Listed rainforest all on one site. Set on 100 acres (40 hectares) in the midst of World Heritage Rainforest, this unique tourist attraction is situated five minutes from Kuranda Village, and half an hour by coach from Cairns.

08:00am Travel to Rainforestation Nature Park by coach via the scenic Kuranda Range.

09:00am Arrive at Rainforestation Nature Park. Your tour includes:  

• Army Duck Rainforest Tour with Tropical Fruit Orchard. Travel deep into the rainforest on both land and water on a guided tour. 
  
• Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience.  Watch the Pamagirri Dancers perform in the rainforest amphitheatre, then join the Dreamtime Walk - learn to throw a boomerang and watch spear-throwing and didgeridoo playing.
  
•  Koala & Wildlife Park.  See crocodiles, wombats, snakes, dingoes and a cassowary, and hand feed kangaroos and wallabies. Have
  your photo taken cuddling a koala or holding a small crocodile (optional extra).
  

From 12:00pm  Depart Rainforestation for your transfer into Kuranda Village. Alternatively, you may wish to stay longer at  Rainforestation for lunch in the restaurant - all passengers receive $5 off the BBQ Buffet Lunch.

On arrival to Kuranda Village,  wander through the shops and markets offering local handicrafts, souvenirs and gifts. A must see is the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary with a 10% discount off your entry fee. 

4:00pm Your coach departs from outside the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary for your transfer to your accommodation.

OPTIONAL UPGRADES - Additional Cost

R1BS:  Return Coach Transfers, Rainforestation & One Way Skyrail:  Features all above standard inclusions

• 2:30pm Be at Skyrail Rainforest Cableway Kuranda Terminal for 2:45pm boarding.  The 7.5 km Skyrail journey takes 30–40 minutes, however we recommend you spend time at the two stations enroute:  Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station.
  
• 4:00pm Your coach will be at Caravoncia Skyrail terminal to transfer you to your accommodation.

R1BT:  ( Return Coach Transfers, Rainforestation & One Way Train): Features all above standard inclusions

• 2:00pm Be at Kuranda Railway Station and present your itinerary to receive your ticket for the train.  Your journey takes 1 3/4 hours through to Cairns Railway Station.  DO NOT DISEMBARK AT FRESHWATER STATION.
  
• 3:45pm  Your Coach will be at the Cairns Railway Station to transfer you back to your accommodation. Please tell your Driver if you do not require a return transfer.
