Blazing Saddles ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) Safari 

Blazing Saddles is the longest established horse riding & ATV company in Far North Queenlsand.  The family owned & operated adventure company is set on a working cattle station and located only 35 minutes from Cairns.  This amazing property offers you the opportunity to explore native Australia Bushland, giant termite mounds, creeks and savannah plains in the True Aussie Outback. 

Blazing Saddles ATV offers a ½ day of excitement, and allows the participants to experience nature close up, at their own pace. All tours cater for different levels of experience with guides taking the adrenalin junkies on a fast paced ride and another guide taking those happy to cruise.

Departures:
Morning - 8:30am, returning 12:30pm
Afternoon - 1:30pm, returning 5:30pm

Upon arrival at Blazing Saddles, you will be met by the friendly staff with tea and coffee and a traditional Australian Damper, served with jam & cream. 

All the ATV's are easy to ride and provide the perfect transportation through the rainforest.  Blazing Saddles has a large fleet of quad bikes, 250cc ATV's plus a selection of 90cc ATV's for the children (min age 12).  The ATV Ride is exciting and there are a few water traps and hill climbs to negotiate. You will first be trained on an obstacle course and then examined to see if you can handle the power, then you are let loose on the adventure trail!

There is a smaller bike option for people not comfortable with the larger quad bikes. The ride takes about 2 hours and depending on if you do the tour in the morning or afternoon.  Aussie hotdogs are served in the morning and finger food in the afternoon.  

Beginners are catered for and the guides will give you a safety lesson before the tour. You need to wear jeans (or long pants), covered shoes and t-shirt (no singlets) and bring your camera and sunscreen. No experience is necessary and each tour includes a safety lesson and skill improvement on the obstacle course and all safety equipment is supplied.

Full Day ATV & Horseride Combo:
There is also the option to combine this tour with an afternoon of horse riding, this combo offers the very best of Blazing Saddles Adventures! Enjoy 1.5hrs free time in Kuranda before your horseride adventure. The horses are well maintained and have a very friendly nature. You will be matched to a horse based on your experience and ability. Both the Aussie hotdogs and finger food are included in your day as well as full return transfers.
