You will be collected from your accommodation by a fully air-conditioned vehicle for a journey on one of the most renowned scenic coastal road in Australia.

Enjoy a brief tour of Port Douglas and Four Mile Beach before travelling onto the award winning Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary where you will observe up close rare & endangered Australia animals. There is also the opportunity to have your photo taken with a koala and pat a kangaroo.

The journey continues along the Captain Cook Highway to the majestic Daintree River where you will cross over the Daintree River on the cable ferry and enjoy breathtaking views of the rainforest coastline and scenic lookouts. Lunch is served at the beautiful beachfront Cape Restaurant & Bar where you will have the choice of Steak, Fish or Vegetarian Lasagna and buffet salad all served with tea and coffee.

Following lunch you will travel to Cape Trib beach for a walk to the headland that provides magnificent views of where the 'rainforest literally meets the reef'.

Deep into the national park is The Marrdja Botanical boardwalk , one of the specially constructed rainforest and mangrove walks. Your guide will enlighten you to the secrets of the rainforest; learn about its foods, medicines and history during your guided walk.

Arriving back at the Daintree River enjoy a 1 hour river cruise. Learn about the mangroves that line the banks, and spot crocodiles, birds and other wildlife that inhabit the area. Following this you will have the opportunity to take in the spectacular views from the Rex Lookout on your journey home, before returning to your accommodation.
